Members of the Minot Prairie Quilt Guild gathered at Vincent de Minot United Methodist Church on October 2 for a full day of sewing on quilts for community service.
With a grant from St. Joseph’s Community Health Foundation, the Quilting Guild was able to purchase an Accuquilt, which cuts the fabric.
The Accuquilt did the majority of the cutting of the fabric to create the quilts that the members of the Quilting Guild worked on that day.
To date, the Quilts Guild has donated 23 quilts to organizations and individuals.
Marsha Yoder and Alicia Cross are Chairs of the Quilting Guild’s Community Service Committee.
