Life Community Church Food Distribution Donates Hundreds of Free Food Boxes | Connect FM | Local news radio

DuBois, Pennsylvania – A church food distribution in DuBois gave hundreds of boxes full of groceries to locals in need yesterday, but it unfortunately also caused traffic slowdowns.

The Life Community Church near the DuBois Shopping Center distributes free boxes of food every Wednesday in February.

The 30-pound box of food contains things like milk, eggs, meat, cheese, fruits and vegetables. Everyone is welcome !

It will be available in the DuBois shopping center parking lot near the cinema every Wednesday in February, from 11 a.m. until all boxes are sold out.

Yesterday was the first time that the distribution took place. Last week’s cast was canceled due to weather.

Although hundreds of boxes were given to families in need, the high turnout also caused delays and traffic problems. Hundreds of cars lined up in the parking lot and caused problems at the intersection near PNC.

They’re hoping the cast will go more smoothly next week now that they’ve got a little practice.

James Goodman, the senior pastor of Life Community Church in DuBois, would like to thank everyone who showed up to help or receive a box.
