500 indigent receive food packages and groceries from CDC’s community pantry
Some 500 indigent residents of Angeles City have received food packages and other basic items from the Clark Development Corporation (CDC) community pantry, officials said.
The beneficiaries, including 150 elderly people, were from Barangay Margot, according to the CDC.
The Community Pantry is a joint project of CDC in partnership with Clark Locators as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) projects.
CDC partner locators including Clark Marriott Hotel, Global Square Plaza Phils. Corp., COEX Inc., DH Philippines Electrical Corp., Metro Clark Waste Management Corp., Clark Resort Travel and Amusement Corp., BW Manufacturing Corp. and Gold Tree Tobacco Manufacturing Corp., were among those who contributed to the community pantry. .
Advantest Philippines Inc., Evertrust Business Solutions Inc. and Outback Five Star Clark Philippines Inc. also participated in the initiative.
Donations included assorted groceries, food wrappers, fresh vegetables and face masks which were given to residents during the activity.
CDC Chairman Attorney Edgardo Pamintuan attended the activity with CDC Vice Chairman for Administration and Finance Mariza Mandocdoc and CDC Deputy Deputy Chairman for External Affairs Rommel Narciso .
